Intellectual Property Contributor Application

Step 1 of 4 - Confirm Qualification

  • The Digital Bible Library™ (DBL) provides tools for for Intellectual Property Contributors (IPCs) to gather Scripture translation data and metadata, and to validate and upload this content to the library. It also provides an interface to develop and maintain licensing documents, which can then be used for defining the terms for agreements granted to Library Card Holders (LCHs). Approved LCH organizations are able to browse the DBL catalog and request access to specific content. DBL tracks and manages the agreement workflow, and maintains an ongoing log of events and agreements between organizations. Each IPC decides who they will grant access to for the content they manage, and have the ability to manage this access through the DBL interface. The DBL itself has no authority relating to Scripture content access..

Any agency, ministry, or person interested in submitting content to the DBL must fulfill certain criteria in addition to a minimum level of technical expertise. Kindly review these criteria before proceeding with your application. Each IPC application is reviewed by the Partnership Credentials Committee (PCC) which reserves the right to review individual contents for conformity to these criteria.
